It runs on Android 10 out of the box with ROGUI on top. On the front, there’s a 24 Megapixel camera. The 64 Megapixel camera is capable of 8K 30fps and 4K 60fps video. So when u apply something, when finished you should see the Apply/Cancel buttons in lower-right disappear. While cameras aren’t the simplest thing a few gaming phones, the Asus ROG Phone 3 packs a triple camera setup on the rear that has a primary 64 Megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, a secondary 13 Megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 3rd 5 Megapixel macro camera. There is almost always a delay when u change a selection in NV-CP and then applying it. Then scroll down and find Power Management and set this to Prefer Max Performance and apply. What you do want to get from ASUS though is the latest BIOS Update for your particular model of laptop. No point in getting them from there as they will be outdated and they will cease to release updates for your model once it ages a bit as with pretty much all hardware. This will get rid of any OEM limitations of the drivers that are released by ASUS. Uninstall the NVIDIA GPU Drivers reboot uninstall the Intel HD GPU Drivers reboot. Make sure u are handling all of this under your Windows Admin User Account. Here are the specs in case you need them:
The geforce experience was also downloaded manually from nvidia website.ĭo you guys have any solutions for this problem? It's pretty frustrating to know that you paid almost 1000 euros for a badass laptop and then find out you cannot enjoy its full potential. Please note that all drivers, including the 332.33 graphic driver were downloaded from the asus website, under the category that included my laptop model. I've downloaded the 337.88 driver manually from nvidia website but when I tried to install it, the setup said it's not compatible, thus I wasn't able to make any progress. I've checked for updates, but it revealed no new drivers available for download. In geforce experience, my latest installed graphics driver for gtx 760m is 332.33, knowing that on my gaming PC with a gtx 660 OC the latest driver is 337.88. I've tried disabling the CPU graphic unit from device manager but it did not work, the laptop was still using that one.Īlso I've noticed something that I think it's kinda wrong. I've tried forcing the laptop to use the dedicated graphics from nvidia control panel, but the second I exit the panel and enter a game, it switches itself back to integrated graphics. I've reached the conclusion that the laptop is using the integrated CPU graphics and not the dedicated GTX 760m graphics. When I'm playing a game, I notice that the graphics are always on low, and even on low settings the laptop kinda struggles to run it smoothly.
In order to test the laptop in gaming, I've installed Borderlands 2 and Saints Row 4 ( I'll install others in the near future ). I've installed the normal drivers such as the hotkey, sound drivers etc including the nvidia driver and geforce experience interface. I've installed windows 8.1 on it, since Asus did not have any kind of drivers for windows 7. Hey all, about a month ago I bought an Asus Republic of Gamers laptop, namely the G56JR model.
